To all the Trading Members Sub: Service Tax - Commission on Sovereign Gold Bonds Scheme 2016 - 17 In continuation of our Circular No. NSE/FA/32818 dated July 15, 2016 in relation to the commission to be shared with the Trading Members on Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Issuance scheme under RBI. In this regard, it may kindly be noted that those members who are desirous of charging service tax on the commission to be shared by the Exchange, shall be required to issue the service tax invoice as per the Service Tax Rules, 1994. A draft invoice format is appended herewith (as Annexure ‘A’) for your reference and facilitation.
