Circular Ref. No : 39 / 2016 All Members, New Linux UDP Server The exchange is issuing new Linux UDP server (version v4.00.00). Members may note that the existing Linux UDP server version shall be required to be replaced with the new Linux UDP server (version v4.00.00) by May 6, 2016. The existing Linux UDP server version shall be discontinued w.e.f from May 07, 2016. Members are requested to download and install the new Linux UDP server which shall be made available from April 29, 2016 17:00 hours onwards on the following Extranet path Sr. No. 1 2

Annexure – I

1. Download the new Linux UDPServer application “LINUXUDPSERVER_v4.00.00_32.tar” for Linux 32 bit OS / “LINUXUDPSERVER_v4.00.00_64.tar” for Linux 64 bit OS from extranet path (/mfsscommon/LinuxUDPSRVR/) 2. Keep above mentioned file in /home directory. 3. Unzip “LINUXUDPSERVER_v4.00.00_32.tar/ LINUXUDPSERVER_v4.00.00_64.tar” file. 4. Go to LINUXUDPSERVER_v4.00.00 directory 5. Run UDP Server installer (command: ./UDP_Install) 6. Provide installation path. 7. After successful installation, go to above mentioned installation path. 8. Launch the application (command: ./StartUDPServer), the following Main Menu screen will be displayed

9. Add new configuration by selecting option 1 (Add New Configuration) from Main menu.

10. Below table provides the mapping of the fields in the new UDP server vis-à-vis current UDP server for ease of configuration.

11. To view configurations, select option 4 (Display All Configurations) from Main Menu.

12. To Start All UDP Server configurations simultaneously, select option 6 (Start All UDP Server) from Main Menu. 13. To Stop All UDP Server configurations simultaneously, select option 7 (Stop All UDP Server) from Main Menu. 14. To Start UDP Server configuration individually select option 8 (Start Single UDP Server) from Main Menu. 15. To Stop UDP Server configuration individually select option 9 (Stop Single UDP Server) from Main Menu. 16. To modify or delete a saved configurations select 3 (Modify Configuration) or select 2 (Delete Configuration) option respectively. 17. To view the statistics of running UDP Server configurations, select option 5 (Display Statistics) from Main Menu. Statistics will refresh after 10 seconds. 18. Dependent library: To run LINUXUDPSRVR application following library is required to be present on the machine “libstdc++.so.6”.
