Nuclear Science Merit Badge Day Saturday 24 October 2015 8:00am — 3:30pm Est. Education Center, Bldg 998, Patrick AFB The Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) is hosting a Nuclear Science Merit Badge Day on Saturday, 24 October 2015. Class work will be completed in the morning at the Base Education Center. Scouts will then transition to AFTAC for lunch. After lunch, scouts will have the opportunity to visit several locations in AFTAC to fulfill specific merit badge requirements. Scouts will leave having completed all requirements! Highlights
Registration: Class size is limited to 45 scouts, 5 scouts per Troop, plus 2-3 Leaders per Troop. Email points of contact to register and get the Nuclear Science Merit Badge Workbook. Cost is $5 per person. Covers lunch (hotdogs, chips, and drinks) and materials for requirements. Scouts are not required to purchase the Merit Badge book but may do so if they choose. More details and base access procedures will be provided.
