FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

February 9, 2015- From the staff of New York Revolution- New York Revolution (NYR) declares April 15th, 2015 as Non-Compliance Day (NCD). This day is in response to the New York S.A.F.E Act (legislation strictly regulating gun use and ownership). On this day we invite all citizens to stay home from work, participate with family and friends, and not generate any commerce (no buying or selling). NYR is willing to take a stand in opposition to unconstitutional laws. NYR is comprised of concerned citizens who have formed a grass roots organization to inform the public of constitutional issues in New York State to mobilize citizens to action. The S.A.F.E. Act was passed with little regard to public opinion and continues to erode our 2nd Amendment rights by invading individual privacy and enables gun confiscation of citizens. The first NCD occurred on April 15, 2014, the final date of registration for the newly classified firearms under the misnomer of “assault weapon”. This call to action, NCD, is a strong message from the People that they will not comply to unconstitutional laws of any nature, including those infringing on our 2nd Amendment rights (“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”). By not using your dollars on April 15th, you will be contributing to the message Albany receives. With your help, the monetary influence can be huge. Take a stand with us! We must be a united front in order for our voices to be heard! Come join us as this is spreading nationally and among other groups of Constitutionally-minded people.
