STUDENTS UNION OF MONGOLIAN UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES The purpose of the Students Union is: to support the success of the Mongolian youth, to develop their own self-esteem, to contribute to the development of the capacity of best human resources in the field of agriculture, to increase voluntary and active participation of the students and to establish a unity of students. One. Common grounds 1.1 The purpose of this bylaw is to define and regulate the general principles of the Students Union's operations. 1.2 The name of the organization is Students Union of Mongolian University of life Sciences and its abbreviation is SU of MULS. 1.3 The SU of MULS is a non-governmental organization, which is a non-profit organization that serves its member-students and guided by the Constitution of Mongolia, Law on Non-Governmental Organizations, as well as this bylaw. 1.4 The SU of MULS is a union of each school students council’s chairpersons and set on a voluntary basis as Student Union of the Mongolian University of Life Sciences. 1.5 The SU of MULS works with governmental and non-governmental organizations and with Administration of Mongolian University of Life Sciences to express and protect the interests and aspirations of the students. 1.6 SU of MULS has its own rules, symbols and motto. 1.7 SU of MULS is set free of political party. Two. The purpose of the activity 2.1 The main purpose of the SU of the MULS is to protect the interests of students and to implement the concept of 'Universal Declaration of student Rights’ by creating favorable conditions for their education. 2.2 The SU of the MULS adheres to the principle of respecting the law, respecting equality and integrating students' unity. 2.3 The SU of the MULS will develop and cooperate, and promote the interests of the student movement, expressing their interests and aspirations. 2.4 The SU of MULS will provide students with the information they need to be engaged with activities organized by the universities administration. 2.5 The SU of MULS expresses the interests of the students in a unified manner. 2.6 The SU of MULS will work to improve the education system and to improve quality and efficiency.

Three. Organizational Structure 3.1 The SU of MULS will follow the principles of federation in its operations. 3.2 The SU of MULS is a union that brings together all student councils of the schools of Mongolian University of Life Sciences. 3.3

a. The SU of MULS will have its own Board. b. The SU of MULS will have its representative in Board of MULS. c. A representative of MULS Board will also serve as member of the SU. 3.4 All students studying at the MULS are members of the SU.

3.5 The main activities of SU are governed and managed by “Board of Student Union” which is consist of members chosen from schools of MULS. 3.5.1 The "Board of SU" shall meet at least twice a month and the decision made at the meeting is valid If the attendance is 60% or higher. 3.5.2 The "Board of SU" shall consider and approve the course and work plan of its activities. 3.5.3 The Board of SU shall comprise each of the activities 3.5.4 The Board members of SU have the right to agree with the University administration for certain discounts /benefits/. 3.5.6 The Board of SU will have 12 members. 3.6 Session of SU 3.6.1 The governing body of the SU is the congress. 3.6.2 The regular sessions shall be held twice a year. a. The autumn session is on second week of October b. The Spring session is on fourth week of April 3.6.3 The agenda of the Session shall be determined by the Board of SU and publicly announced a week before the Session. 3.6.4 Organizing Committee shall be appointed by the Board of SU to prepare for session. 3.6.5 The other matters to be discussed in the Session shall be decided by most members of the Session. 3.6.6 The organizational structure of SU shall be set by the Congress.

3.6.7 If quarter of all MULS students or 50% of board members call for Congress an unprecedentedly Congress can be hold.

Four. Rights and duties of SU 4.1 The SU will have the right to operate within the University. 4.2 The SU’s division student union will have its own structure and will have the right to resolve their own problems. 4.3 The SU has the authority to submit proposals to the University administration regarding its decision. 4.4 SU of MULS shall organize cultural events and sports events in cooperation with the University administration. 4.5 The Board of SU is responsible for their decision on the consequences of their operations. 4.6 The Board SU is responsible for overseeing the usage and distribution of dormitories to control disciplines and to participate in the meeting of Dormitory administration. 4.7 The SU will present their report to the Financial and Supervisory Board each time. Five. Rights and duties of SU members 5.1 The SU member is eligible to vote and to be elected. 5.2 A member of the SU is entitled to participate directly in the initiative and management of some of the activities of the SU and directly through selected or elected representatives. 5.3 A member of the SU is entitled to obtain the information regarding activity of the SU. 5.4 A member of the SU has the right to receive awards from MULS administration based on the provisions of the agreement made between MULS Administration and SU. 5.5 A member of the SU is obliged to actively participate in the decisions and activities organized by the University Administration. 5.6 The member of the SU is not eligible for any activities on behalf of SU without the consent of the Board of SU. Six. Funding 6.1 SU of MULS shall be financed from the following sources: 6.1.1 Earnings from their own operations.

6.1.2 Donations. 6.1.3 Support from University Administration 6.2 The SU of MULS shall disburse the budget allocated in relation to its activities by the joint decision of the head, vice-head, general secretary and secretary. 6.3 The SU shall present their report to the Board of SU. Seventh. Symbols 7.1 The SU of MULS will have own symbols, flags and stamps. 7.2 The symbols can be modified by session.

Eight. Center of SU 8.1 The office of SU will be located in the main building of MULS 8.2 The Branch /divisions/ SU will be located at each school. 8.3 The SU office is open to all students.

Nine. Other 9.1 The Congress may amend to the bylaw of SU of MULS.
