The past two months of school have flown by and I have enjoyed getting to meet each and every student. One of the duties of a school counselor is to monitor students attendance. The State of Hawaii requires every school to send out attendance letters when students have accumulated 5, 10,15 and 20 absences whether they are excused or unexcused. Thank you for calling the office to report when your child is absent. We are striving to reach a goal of at least 95% student attendance each day. So far we have been on a roll, let’s keep it going!=] Mahalo, Ms. Nicole!
2016 also invite families to donate fresh produce, flowers and herbs from their home garden for the market too. You can still sign up for the Oahu Fresh Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Produce Bags. Pickup is every other Thursday after school and the cost is $25 per bag of which $5 goes back to SBES! Visit www.oahufresh.com for details and select SBES as your pick up location. Last but not least, Halloween is right around the corner and that means it is time for our The Great Pumpkin Sale on Friday, October 28th after school. Please keep an eye out for more information on how to pre-order your pumpkin with all funds going back to SBES!
