TZ PTO Minutes October 6, 2016 In attendance: Mary Duncan, Angela Huff, Jon Strube, Jana Boggess, Melanie Welker, Carrie Ball, Jenny Riggle, and Megan Inman Secretary’s Report: Jenny read September minutes and approved as read. Jana Boggess: Checking account balance is $1751.97 and savings account balance is $1611. 89. Jana Boggess attempted to transfer $1000 from the TZ PTO Savings account to TZ PTO Checking, to cover expenses. The bank actually pulled $1000 from Jana's personal savings on September 9 instead. Jana caught the issue later when reviewing her personal savings statement and requested a correction from the bank. $1000 was debited from checking and transferred to Jana's personal account. She realized the mistake on September 18. .

A. Restaurant Nights: Subway earned $99.00, McTeacher Night earned $242.00, October 27 is Putnam Inn Night (4-7pm), November 22 is Anthony’s Night (5-9pm), December 12 is Pizza King Night (4-10pm) B. Box Tops: $509.20 earned this year C. Fall Fundraiser: will be available October 10 D. Kroger Cards: No Report E. Men’s Group: No Report F. Fitness Fanatics: 2,071 miles this school year. Michelle requested lanyards for the runners. G. Teacher Appreciation: Delivered treats for September birthdays. Snacks will be brought in for parent-teacher conferences H. Spirit Wear: Shirts are sold for $10 and cost to PTO is $6. 45 shirts of each style have been ordered. I. Texas Roadhouse: Fundraiser canceled by Texas Roadhouse. Mary Duncan will look into selling Beef House Rolls Old Business A. 85 students participated in Walk or Bike to School New Business A. Fall Harvet Party/Room Parents: A few classrooms are without room parents. B. Fall Family Night: Chili supper will be from 5:30-7:00. The cafeteria will purchase and prepare chili. Mary Duncan will check with Aldi for food donations. A donation list for bread,

peanut butter, rice krispie treats, and cookies will be made. Electric junk is needed for Mrs. Hendershot’s science activity. Each pod will have two themes for a silent auction basket. C. Santa Shop: Dec. 5-9 We will use the same vendor as the previous year D. Staff purchases: PTO is purchasing 1 pencil sharpener.
