jasper speech + debate …on a roll and growing fast! In 2013-2014… we had 67 debate students in three classes we competed in Public Forum, Congressional Debate, US and International Extemporaneous Speaking, and a little teeny bit of Original Oratory we took thirteen students to the TFA Texas State Tournament we took seven students to the National Tournament, competing in four different events.

In 2014-2015… we had 99 debate students in four classes we competed in Public Forum, Congressional Debate, US and International Extemporaneous Speaking, more Original Oratory, added Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and experimented with World Schools Debate. we took fourteen students to the TFA Texas State Tournament we took seven students to the National Tournament, competing in six different events.

In 2015-2016… we have 116 debate students in five classes we compete in Public Forum, Congressional Debate, US and International Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Prose, Info, Duo, Duet Acting, Dramatic and Humorous Interpretation, and one of our students is on the USA World Schools Debate team. sixteen students have qualified for the TFA Texas State Tournament so far, but we’re not even close to done yet!
