Dear Parents Proposed Kowloon Learning Campus: JCSRS, KJS and KGV Please find attached information on the proposed learning campus in Kowloon. The learning campus model aims to establish closer partnership working across the schools providing all-through education for students Y1 to Y13 and greater opportunities for students from JCSRS to integrate. The main focus would initially be on learning experiences at the upper stages of primary and early years of secondary supporting a more seamless transition and on meaningful integration of our students from JCSRS. The impact of the new model on students’ learning experiences and outcomes will be kept under review. The ambition of this proposal is to enhance the learning experiences and outcomes for students. The transition arrangements for our students who join KGV in Y7 from Clearwater Bay School (CWBS) and Beacon Hill School (BHS) will be enhanced to take account of the emerging practice from the Kowloon Learning Campus. I hope to get the opportunity to share further the possible benefits of the learning campus model with you and to hear your views and answer your questions.
