PAST SIMPLE Ø We use the Past Simple to talk about actions and states that are completed in the past. Ø We can use it to talk about a specific point in time in the past. · She came back last Friday. · I saw her in the street yesterday Ø It can also be used to talk about a period of time in the past · She lived in Tokyo for seven years. · They were in London from Monday to Thursday last week. There are two types of verbs: REGULAR and IRREGULAR REGULAR

RULE = Verb + ed in the affirmative form
The Verb doesn’t follow the RULE. We have to use the second column of the list of Irregular Verbs

**Walked and sang only appear in the Affirmative form. When we have did, the verb is in the Infinitive form: walk and sing.
