Federationvide its letter dated24105/2017 broughtto the notice of RailwayBoard a case of EasternRailway where the Junior Engineers(AC) in GP 4200/Level6 of 7ft CPC when deployedto EscortRajdhani/Shatabdi Trains with the team of other staff for ensuringsafe and efficientrunningmaintenancearedeniedpaymentof Over Time Allowance. In this connection,NFIR once again cites the referencemade by the GeneralManager (P), EasternRailway to the Railway Boardvide letterdated04/0512017. Thoughmore thanthree months passed,unfortunately neither clarificatory instructionshave been issued to Eastern Railway allowing payment of Over Time to the JEs (AC) nor Federationapprisedon the progressofthe case. While enclosing copy of Federation'sletter dated 2410512017 and EasternRailway's letterdated04/0512017, NFIR once againurgesupon the Railway Board to accordapprovalfor payment of Over Time Allowance to the JEs of Electrical Department escorting Rajdhani/Shatabdi ExpressTrains early.
