Highly recommended if you are starting to get into removing malware. By Ronald C. Mervine Disclaimer: I won this book from a giveaway a few months back. However, I am giving an objective view of this book that I read. Prior to reading this book, I did have an extensive background by working with an Antivirus company on removing malware. In summary, I was responsible for removing malware off of customer's machines and obtaining the virus sample so that it could be implemented in future antivirus definitions I have been "out of the game" for a few years now. Upon reading the book, Michael does make this book geared towards the novice. It's his intended audience and he does a great job of doing so. This book will give helpful tools on what's needed to prevent and remove malware. When I was reading the book, I kept thinking "Is he going to talk about this or talk about this tool" I'm glad to say that he does cover a lot of things that I worked with before.It's a great no nonsense approach on removing malware and Michael does a perfect job of doing so. This book is also great for the novice technician who wants to get into removing malware
