A detailed look from the inside into the British Special Boat Service By Bob Strand A very interesting look from the inside into British Special Operations and specifically The Special Boat Service and operations with Special Air Service during the 80's and operations in Northern Ireland. Great book. This is a first hand account of life in the little known Special Boat service. I had heard of the SBS, but very little is known about this counterpart of the SAS. Although there were somethings the author could not elaborate on, this is completely understandable due to security reasons. Having said that this is a great read on the author's personal experiences in the SBS. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read about the british special forces who have a wealth of experience on the world's stage. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.
