It's all he talked about and all he wanted to play with from about the age of 4 to 7! This got old for the rest of us after a couple years and I bought this book to support his interest in trains while broadening his focus away from Thomas. The illustrations are big, bright and colorful. The verbage is suited to a 2nd or third grader. I never heard from him about the book, but I thought it

In USA there are not many trains to really see, ride and experience. I thought this book may inspire him to learn the fun and great history of trains around the world. I couldn't read this to him so that I don't know how it is written. From the pictures and the trains it features, it looked like a pretty good book. But this book is very thin.
