It has given me so many fresh ideas to take my drumming to a different level. It's not a book that you'll want to just open up and read cover to cover and move on, each lesson in the book is something that you can work on and develop as far as your imagination can take it. I Was blown away when I discovered Jost when I attended pasic a few years ago, he is such an amazing drummer with a jaw dropping melodic style. I was extremely excited when I heard about this book and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. And now I can't put it down!! Very good buy! Tons of tracks on the CD so you can hear what's going on. Things like the split groove and switch groove give you some great ideas on how things that you think you can already play can sound and feel like they are new. So far, I am going slow but even as far as I got, applying Jost's ideas are making a big difference.
