not consider specialized, discrete photodiode amplifiers. By limiting the coverage to op-amps, the bandwidths are necessarily those of op-amps, a few tens of megahertz at the time most of the book was written, perhaps 100 MHz or so today. It is gives good coverage of the limitations of the transimpedance amplfier, gives good comparision of different schemes for I to V convertors and covers noise in photodiode circuits extensively.
