The Pacific has not received enough coverage and these 2 books give you a real-life feel for the trials endured by our Soldiers and Marines in the Pacific theater. Not for the weak of stomach. Robert Leckie was a disappointment as a writer and as a solder. 1 of 3 people found the following review helpful.
