It is well written and researched. I will be keeping it in my personal collection to reread again and reference to the life in the Texas Ranch life in the early Llano days. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Interesting history By Terry N Jones I was curious about the origin of the Bush family's holdings in the Texas Panhandle. This book covers that subject very well and in addition gives a history of the Bush family and related families from the 1800's to the 1990's. The Bush family history has been intertwined with the early and current history of Amarillo, Texas and this book covers that relationship. All in all an interesting read if you have an interest in the Bush family or Amarillo. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The first American Texas rancher to totally barb-wire off his entire Texas ranch back in the day. You have to give these folks credit on how they, as a family, work together.
