Another excellent Detective Story By Carole McKee Detectives Karen Seagate and Ryan Miner are up to their eyeballs in an investigation of the murder and rape of a female political figure. Every idea they come up with is thwarted by their superiors. Something isn't right. Are their bosses lying to them? Who do they trust? It's another great detective story with Seagate and Miner at their finest. The author, Mike Markel, is a terrific writer. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. You've got to read this book By Dennis G in NJ I love this author's style of writing, very descriptive but no where near boring. The story line is very telling of the terrors some of us face in life. This is a good murder mystery with just enough twists to keep it exciting. Enjoy!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great character profiles. I really appreciated the way Seagate's character develops.
