The books have always been excellent, but the condition of THESE books was less than perfect By Pen Name I have already read these when I was a child, but I wanted to have a nice new matching set for my daughters. I just received this boxed set as well as the boxed set for books 9 through 12. I already have the boxed set for books 1 through 4. The actual condition of these isn't perfect: they appeared to have footprints on three of the books. I wiped the dirt off, but they looked like shoe prints. The outside of the box had dirt on three of the edges, too. Don't let that deter you from reading these fantastic stories, though! This was a rare instance and must have occurred at the assembly plant, because each boxed set was shrink wrapped. It's uncommon for Amazon to sell books that aren't in perfect condition. Also - the printer for the covers needs to realize that each spine should be similar to the other spines. Some of the spines have the number of the book on them, but some do not. The first four have numbers, but of the eight I just received, only book #11 has a number printed on its spine. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. takes me back to childhood By Z Cat Nip These books are nice hard backs and the box makes a nice touch to keep them in. I am enjoying reading these again. (used to get them from the library as a pre-teen). I didn't know there were so many in the series; I will likely buy them all eventually! 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. DID YOU HAVE YOUR BOWL OF CHERRIES TODAY By Faith Golden Life is a nursing mystery adventure when you have a boxed set of (Books 5-8) "CHERRY AMES" by Helen Wells. The setting is during World War II. The price is just right! I am very happy to have Cherry Ames in my library. P.S. I remember reading those books when I was a teenager (that has been quite a few years ago) So image ny excitement finding them once again. Don't forget to have your bowl of cherries starting today!
