Girls, take back your power, and don't settle for ambiguity any longer By Jennifer I remember when this little book made the bestseller list or something and everyone was raving about it, so naturally I just went with the herd. You start working on the chapters one by one, read the little "scenarios" that go with each "if he's not..." category and it's all you can do not to laugh or chuckle at the thought that there is a need to "figure out" stuff like is he actually dating you? Greg has such a breezy and entertaining writing style that is enough to take the sting out of the realizations that you may be with a guy who is like this...Whew, I hope I am not the only one who thinks the institution of modern dating is in dire need of reform.. Our mothers and grandmothers never dealt with all this murky level of nonsense, because once upon a time the culture supported the traditional means of courtship and there was none of this FWB, casual dating, hooking up amongst other ambiguous categories of involvement with someone of the opposite sex. But until the day comes when the pendulum swings back to "normal" (and I don't know if it ever will) some ladies out there could really use a book like this; to quickly identify the duds and drop them like a hot potato! Don't settle for "sort of dating someone" any longer...I love that one; how are you supposed to be "sort of dating someone" is that like sort of pregnant, or sort of in a coma, or whatever? As for the co-author who is 41 years old and still single, and sick of it, perhaps she could benefit from a geographic move?
