Five Stars By Edmund Beagley thoroughly enjoyed this book , hard to put down . 16 of 17 people found the following review helpful. I enjoyed the book for the most part. The sample was great. By Lori After getting to the end of the sample I ordered the full book. The story line is fine and enjoyable reading. However if you do not like errors you will be disappointed. There were more errors, typos in this book than any I have ever read. Missing words, extra words, and the wrong words (example: They instead of The). Mostly things that a spell checker will not catch because they are correctly
spelled just the wrong word. I am reading along and then a sentence is confusing. Then after rereading it several times I figure out (usually) what it was suppose to be. One page had three errors! So warning for those that can not handle that. Perhaps the author will have someone proof read it for her and make corrections. This would have never made it through a publishing house like as is. Laura Dowers has presented a somewhat different profile if the Earl of Leicester, less heavy breathing and more ambition to redeem his family and to be remembered as a person of accomplishment. Robert Dudley was no lightweight. He did more than just decorate the room when the Queen was present. This is the story that the author conveys with well-researched skill.
