Even my surgeons steal this book off my desk to brush up on some anatomy and to refresh themselves on complicated cases. I would highly, highly recommend this book. Each page has a detailed picture of the procedure, and the opposite page has the explainations (captions) to the pictures. TONS of pictures, really well done.

The book offers step by step description of the most common cardiovascular surgeries. It is well researched and discusses the different views of surgical techniques, offering surgeons alternatives.
