Yet another Pilkey pleasure By Rick Goff Since reviewers need to be over 13, I'll type my 6-year-old son's comments. Henry says: I found it very funny. I thought it was hilarious. The Flip-o-ramas were good and the whole book was awesome. I've read all of the CU books, as well as the Ricky Ricotta books up to book 7, and I would say this one isn't the best, but it's awfully good. It was funny when Boxer Boy and Great Granny Girdle kissed. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Pilkey's Purple Potty People prevail! By Paul Buerckholtz My 8-year-old loved it. Funny without being unkind. Laugh with, not at. Sure, there are some pranks, but essentially harmless. Also my 17-year-old loved it, and yes, my 42-year-old wife loved it. My son is on the autism spectrum and Captain underpants is his current love. He is all about the flip o ramas, and this particular story has more than enough for for his flipping pleasure. Just an fyi, if your kid loves flipping as much a mine, the paperback edition
(which we got) may not stand up to the love as much as the hardback ones. We have a lot of hardback editions, but my guy bought this one with his own $, so he chose the cheaper edition.
