Lucid and Insightful By DeshCalling Although the title of the book is misleading this is compensated by the content of the essays that are well thought out and researched. There certainly maybe areas that require further research and study but the same can be said for any area of academic endeavor. Most pleasurable is the style of writing adopted which makes the reading easy and engrossing. The author appears to come to Islam with a sympathetic ear and this is a relief after the hostility created by 9/11. This book is worth a read for those interested in Islam and South Asia.
