Victoria Woodhull: Free Spirit For Women's Rights By Natalie E. Karl What a character Victoria was! It is disappointing that this woman, as shocking as some of her beliefs were in the mid- 1800's, has not been mentioned in most history books. She was so ahead of her time - the first women to attempt to run for the Presidency and the first female broker on Wall Street. This is a interesting read but was written in a very dry, somewhat textbook like manner. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Middle School Suffrage By A. J. Stauffer Biographies on middle school level are hard to find, but this series from Oxford University Press did a really nice job.
