I don't think we should have any more secrets between us." He rested his hands on the table behind him, and her gaze took in his broad and powerful shoulders. She longed to rest her head against his chest and to let him hold her tight, as she knew he would. But they needed to talk, for now. There were still many unanswered questions. She walked back towards the unfinished sculpture and ran her fingers gently along the dragonfly's wings. "How did you do this?" she gasped, feeling the texture of the patterned wings against her skin. "Tools, a lot of time, and a ton of patience." She glanced back at him. "Ethan, it's beautiful. So beautiful. I never knew you were so talented. Will you sell this when it's finished?" He walked over to her, and stood behind her as she examined the rest of the sculpture in fascination. "Yeah, I'm making a duplicate of a model I sold before. This one's going to be exhibited at a gallery in Phoenix." "You exhibit your art in galleries?" asked Nadine breathlessly. "That's amazing. And what's this? It looks like a dragonfly, and an...airplane?" She felt his arms wrap around her arms and his hands lock together against her stomach. The fire in her belly electrified. "The first one was supposed to be a light aircraft but it got badly injured. I had to salvage it, so I made it part dragonfly, part aircraft. The dragonfly was born out of the damaged side, you could say." Nadine's eyes remained fixed on the model as she tried to come to terms with the idea that the man she believed to be a stripper, and then a male escort, was really a talented artist instead. "You have a gift," she murmured as she nestled against him. Her eyes were riveted to the sculpture but she enjoyed the feel of his whole body against her back. "Thank you," he whispered into her ear. The mere hint of his aftershave sent her senses into overdrive. She arched her back as his fingers gently moved her thick hair away from her shoulder. Her skin tingled for the touch of his lips.

"How? When?" She looked from the sculpture to him, trying to figure out how she had missed this whole new side to him. "At school, the woodwork and art and design classes were my favorite. I seemed to be better at making things with my hands." "I never would have guessed this about you." She sighed and looked around the workshop again, until his hot kisses took her attention away. "He says he'll see you tomorrow?" Ethan's lips grazed the side of her neck. "Umm hmm." Nadine let out a moan as Ethan left a trail of kisses along her neck. She turned herself around so that they stood face-to-face and she slipped her arms around his neck to pull him closer towards her. It felt like coming home, to be with him again. "And you don't have to go back to work this afternoon?" he mumbled, his lips soft and wet against her mouth. Nadine moaned softly again, biting her lip. "No," she whispered, hungry for his touch and loving every single bit of attention he was giving her. Ethan lifted his head away and stared at Nadine's face. "So we have the afternoon free?" There was hope in his voice. Lost in his embrace, she had closed her eyes and drifted off into her own slice of heaven. But his voice, so low and so sexy, spoke directly to her, and she knew what he wanted. She wanted the same. Her eyes flew open and she stared back into his, losing all semblance of control as she saw the flagrant desire in his. "We have the afternoon free," she whispered. Her lips parted, waiting for his. Ethan dropped his head down and kissed her on the lips hard; the full force of his mouth clamped down on hers and possessed it fully. Memories of their recent too-short encounter at the hotel were still fresh in her mind. Her senses pulsed in anticipation as he moved his hands gently along her shoulders; he cupped her face with one hand and slid the other slowly down her side before he rested it gently on her waist and waited for her to take the lead. She felt the blood rush through her body and a slow, sensual ache deep in her stomach sent out waves of heat all over her body. She moved closer still and fell deeper into his kiss. Wanting more, she slipped one hand under his t-shirt and touched his chest. Her hand roamed his hot skin and his hard muscles tensed beneath the soft caress of her fingers. His breathing quickened as her fingers grazed up and down his naked skin, finally feeling what she had missed these past days. Ethan stared down at her, his eyes dark with lust, before he kissed her long and hard with unbridled passion. All at once, she felt him hard against her stomach and she let out a low, gentle moan, enjoying the feel of him so close to her. "Here, Ethan. Now," she begged. He stopped kissing her and then tilted her head upwards with his index finger. "Now?" His lips turned up at the corners in amusement. "Yes," she pleaded. He smiled as he ran his thumb over her kissed-to-death lips. He was teasing her and she was

beyond that point. She moved her head towards him and he kissed her again. His tongue danced with hers for the longest time as his hand moved down the fabric of her skirt and cupped her bottom to give it a gentle squeeze. She moved her thigh eagerly in response, willing him to take her now. "Not here, Nadine. Not now." He pulled away and she saw that his eyes were dark with desire. "Ethan!" she wailed. Her desperation for him drove her insane with desire as she tugged at his tshirt, trying to lift it up and over his chest. But he was too broad and the t-shirt was too tight to come off easily. He grabbed both of her hands gently in his. "For one, these metal shavings hurt if they end up in the wrong places." He watched her face and looked deep into her eyes. "And secondly, we don't have any protection." Her body was on fire and here he was, the voice of reason. She wriggled her hands free and grabbed his wrist. "Let's go back to my place. You can get what you need along the way." She noted that he didn't even wait for her to finish the sentence.

The 3rd one was not a charm. :( By Picturerazzi I was actually disappointed with this 3rd installment of the "Perfect Match" series. The first two are amazing and really great reads; however, this one dragged on and on with too many annoying chapters about Ethan and Nadine fighting over stupid stuff. So they are going to "fall in love" over the course of weeks but bicker and fight over the most smallest of things? And then Ethan becomes a jealous, whiny boyfriend with violent tendencies? And Nadine doesn't even ASK Ethan the second time about a crucial life decision? And all of this is taking place while Ethan is ignoring Nadine and being a brat? Yeah, his mom is ill but he was being nasty well before that.

I don't know.....the words just seemed to be lazily typed as to "get it over with." Maybe the author got bored? It's a shame because the first two were super fun and I didn't want to stop reading. I hope this was a fluke because I think the author is talented...I just didn't enjoy this book. P.S was it creepy the way Ethan called Nadine "babe" or is it just me? 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great By Lori A. Shirley Awesome book. it kept me interested and I didn't want to put it down. I read all three in the series and would recommend them for anyone that likes books about things that happen in every day life. Some of it was a little more detailed than I liked, but still great books. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Review for Heart Sync by goodreads Rach By Rachael Kaup I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a roller coaster ride and it may have gotten a little dull when you were inside Nadine's head or Ethan's. But you needed to know what they were thinking. With my reviews I don't do a quick summary of the book for you can just look that up when you look the book up. I give you my opinion of the book and what you may find within it. No spoilers though. This book was steamy and sexy. I mean why not? Nadine and Ethan are together at last and there relationship soars to new heights. But there are some struggles between the two and their careers. Poor Ethan is believing that maybe Nadine is a little too into her business. The segment that the author writes for us is about the woes of going from single to all of a sudden someone is always there. You have to consult with this someone. You are no longer on your own. Nadine is struggling with this change. She doesn't know how to handle this or what it means to be in a relationship. Ethan and her have to fight throughout this book. They have their ups and their downs. Like a normal relationship. I liked the book because it showed just that. A normal relationship. Not this fairy tale. It showed what happens after a couple gets together. It shows you what life can do and how things can test the relationship. I enjoyed this book and in places I wanted to cry. Others I was angry at one or both of the characters. That's what happens when you get engulfed into a book. You become that third party who is trying to help the first two parties. I am going to say that the ending is amazing. It sums everything up and there are not a lot of loose ends. Not to the point where you are stuck trying to figure what happens next. I enjoyed this book. It followed the previous book marvelously. I hope to read the prequel to The Proposal soon. I enjoyed this book and I liked how it made the couple seem real. You could relate to them. The author didn't present you with an exaggerated, unrealistic romance. See all 45 customer reviews...
