Teachers can use this volume to link students to World War Two By RoadLover I've known Jack Rich for more than 40 years and I am delighted to finally read his stories. I've heard some of these tales in pieces and now I can see how they link together. Imagine.. someone who saw the beginning of WW two (the meeting of Hitler and Mussolini) and the end (the signing of V-J day treaty). Jack my Dear Friend By @david_schwind Jack and I have traveled across two continents being friends across generations. It was Ann Lindbergh who motivated him to finally record his tales...I sat there listening with a keen ear as always, listening to Jack finally realize that writing this book was of importance. I read this originally in his home in winter park Florida. Jack may be the only living sole who types anything, especially postcards, on a typewriter. These stories live in my mind daily, I have been to the places he mentions as his sidekick more times than necessary, but I never grow tired of hearing any of them.
