and get it working on a project that spans Windows and Linux builds. The kindle book covers the subject with an excellent introduction to the background and use of the GNU toolchain( compiler, make, linker, debugger ). The book covers compiling, using the make operation to create applications, debugging, cross platform compilation, and using GTK+ to provide graphic interfaces.
