A Great Alternative to Obamacare By Kim Genway This is an excellent book with great insight into the inner sanctum of the current world of our medical delivery system. Central to the books theme is tackling the tough issues through a clinical versus a business model of care. Step by step solutions are offered to the current problems being
seen with the Obamacare implementation. Even though the book is short, each page is filled with real solutions to todays health care issues. This includes a solution to the rising malpractice costs, insurance coverage for the uninsured, effectively solving the doc "fix" plus a futurist approach to changing the way medical care is delivered. The heart of the proposed change is embracing the concept of individualized medicine which is centered around research in the human genome. Within this research, the author proposes that if we tackled the high cost of chronic disease care like we did the Man to the Moon Project sweeping changes could be accomplished in our health care system.
