NOT FOR HOBBYISTS By Toaden I consider Carey a friend and was sent this book to do a honest review. I feel this book was rushed and needs to go through another draft. Step by step directions like this become outdated very fast in the world of technology. In some ways it is already outdated, in other ways it is ahead of it's time. I say that because he talks about video production and teaches terms that have not yet reached the YouTube community yet (and some probably will never since they are aimed at companies (at least small teams) and not independent YouTubers. Keep in mind "small team YouTube channels" is a phrase that is just now becoming something that YouTube is
promoting. With other topics such as algorithms (that constantly change) some may have already been changed. This is a great book for research. This is not the one stop shot that Carey intended it to be. It is full of filler that is meant to inform but it reads as a pamphlet that wants to be a textbook without the knowledge that connects everything together. I keep searching online but didn’t find any good source like this. A complete detail and exact process that most marketer should have.
