More than half of the book unfolded painfully slow and was repetitive. There were a few things that just didn't add up. Although there were some clues that Derek may have been under the influence of something, I dismissed it because that seemed too outlandish but at the end of the book sure enough Breanna's nefarious plot included drugging/trapping him. It was just all too unbelievable and far reaching of the lengths she went through to pin her pregnancy on Derek. Angie's character was easier to understand but she bordered extremes. Brian's character was depraved and deranged so much so that it was difficult to take serious or believe. Also, how did Derek's assistant get the goods on Breanna if her cousin didn't find any info. How did she figure out that Derek wasn't the father. Was the assistant the one who sent the anonymous letter. I felt that should have been cleared up. Also, if Derek was so hood once upon a time why did he seem so soft and sappy at other times, that didn't add up either. The book did heat up towards the end but by then I just wanted it to be over. OMG!! I loved this story. I know Derek had made a mistake but I'm so glad it turned out that he got his one and only true love back. That darn Breena devious as hell. But I'm glad Derek and Angie remain together. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great read By AuthorPTForrest I truly enjoyed this book it was romantic even though it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions of what a women go through when the love of their life betray her. It was pleasing to see the mentality of a man when he cheats, I have heard plenty if times that men actually feel guilty when they cheat on a good women whom they have no intentions on being without. I think relationships can get over a cheat. But I'm glad she made Derek pay for his indiscretions to the point he will never go that route again. Oh and was glad he dropped them hands on Brian.
