I just loved the book!!!! It takes you back to a simplier time when life was alot slower and you had the time to enjoy it.It must have taken a strong and independent person to make the journey alone into the unknown. The people he meet along the way almost became part of your family. The letters from home brought tears to your eyes you could almost hearing his mother's voice. I enjoyed the old time pictures.
