She plans on releasing a second volume of collected short stories, and soon after a full two part novel. She currently lives with her husband, Marcus and their two furry kids of the canine variety wherever the military takes them.

By Fereshte PB Arcadia has a real talent for unfolding entire worlds and eras in a matter of pages in these short stories. Concise, elegant, and brilliantly vivid, each story is powerful written, and the author uses language and small details to really place the reader within the moment. She doesn't shy away from violence or controversial subjects, yet these darker elements are well balanced with sultry scenes and excellent character interaction. It was a delight to read, and I read most of the book in one sitting. Even though they are short stories, the beautiful descriptions and language really hooks the reader, and Arcadia has this ability to write detailed scenes without them being over the top or bogged down. So the finished product is a clean but clear picture that is enjoyable to read--not simply because the content is dark and exciting (which it is), but because the skill is just a delight to see (especially now adays, when its so hard to find an author who can tell a good story AND be a talented writer). I think what I also liked about the short stories was they weren't typical or cliche. They didn't have predictable endings or follow a well-known formula. By Mardigan The title says it all. If you are tired of syrupy-sweet romances and want something bittersweet to get the taste out of your mouth, you will want to give this collection a try. It runs the gamut of genres from historical romance and fantasy to contemporary. The endings are a nice mix of tragic, sweet, and hopeful with a dash of erotica, and the endings are not a dead giveaway from the start of the story either. Unless, of course, you are familiar with the poem "The Highwayman," but the story is beautifully fleshed out in this anthology. There's a little something for everyone. The author writes them so well that they grab you right from the get go. I was completely entraced by each of these stories and felt every bit of the emotions that she portrays in her charaters.
