There is a sense of humor prevalent throughout the books and this one in particular when it comes to punishing the high chancellor for his egotistical behavior concerning his daughter. As usual, there is lots of build up to the big sexual bonding as well as updates on the previous romances and how they are coming along. Cosmo's Promise - A Great Escape! By chb-book addict Reading a book from SE Smith is probably the most fun I get at one time. You know you will laugh and can't wait to join in the fun! Cosmo's Promise delivers on my expectations and I couldn't read it fast enough. You really have to read the previous 3 books in this series to have any idea of what is happening. Cosmos Raines has promised his friends and adopted family that he will watch over the daughter of the Krel Manok leader - Terra Tag Krell Manok. Sent to earth to hide from the men on her home world of Baade, where there are few women, the men have tried to capture women to mate with them. Unfortunately Terra and Cosmo's find out that they are mates. Terra's father has a low opinion of human males and will not allow his daughter to mate with Cosmo. When she returns to Baade because of a threat to Cosmo on earth her father, sends her to an island where all the unmated woman are kept for safety. Cosmo is determined to find Terra and return with her to earth, even if he isn't the type of warrior that the Krel Manok men are. As if that isn't enough the Russian mob is after Cosmo because of his rescue of Tansy Bell (Tansy's Titan - Book 3) and her mate. Life isn't easy for Cosmo and it's getting more difficult everyday. As usual there is a lot of laughter and an equal amount of action and some sadness but always a HEA. Now I have to wait for the next one!

The story has lots of action, and great laugh out loud moments. You can't not enjoy her books. Once you read one of her stories you will be hooked. ROMANCE-WOW! She describes the romance scenes where I was getting hot, but they are what you would call an explosive moment with the hero and heroin. ACTION-I was wanting to get in the fight scenes and beat up a bad guy myself. I'm not a violent person, but someone had to teach those guys a thing or two or maybe three. SUSPENCE- The suspence!!! OHMYGOD!!! kept me from putting the book down. This is a book to read!!! Be sure you don't have to do anything or need to go to bed because you will not want to put the book down. OH! I want a Prime Warrior for myself! They are OH-SO Delicious and HOT! PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP YOUR BOOKS COMING!!! Can't wait for your next book. I will keep reading your WEB page for updates.
