The Programme The two-year residential programme builds the knowledge and inculcates the appropriate skills and attitudes required for working with the poor. The curriculum is 50% eldwork practice and 50% classroom learning. The courses are taught under 5 disciplines: Basics of Development (BASICS), Management for Development (MADE), Technology for Development (TECH), Communication for Development (CODE) and Leadership & Institution Building (LAB).
Uniqueness
2016. Ÿ Graduates/post graduates/professional degrees with work
experience in NGOs are also eligible. Ÿ Willing to work in NGOs for the development of poor for
minimum three years & executing a formal agreement towards this. Students successfully completing the course will be awarded PGDDM after 2 years study and 3 years of work in designated NGOs.
