Clinical Rotations: 4 Basic Types of Clinical Settings:
Outpatient Skilled Nursing Facility Hospital (limited) School Based Rehab (limited)
4 Assigned Rotations Roughly 2x/quarter, usually 8 observation days at each rotation Different setting type stressed
1-3 students per site
Clinical Site Activities: Patient Evaluations & Treatment Observation with the patient & therapist’s consent Student Observation Journals No direct student/patient treatment allowed Patient Confidentiality Facility Operations Office tasks, laundry, treatment “set up” & “break down”

Attendance No credit is given for clinical absences, excused or Role is called unexcused Clinic (M/F) Approximately 60 hours in clinic Time sheet is checked weekly & are required to pass the course clinic contacted Lectures will not be repeated for Absences & Tardiness are absent students reported on Skyward (effecting grade) as well as a phone call to Tests & quizzes must be made up within 2 days after returning parents if consistent to class If absences or tardiness Test & quizzes will not be persists, the student will be returned to students until all removed from the program 1 week notice required if student students have taken the test or is to participate in school activity quiz
