A New Option to Writing Dismissal Notes! PickUp Patrol is coming to WINTHROP GRADE SCHOOL 2017-2018 school year. WGS now has a more convenient and efficient way for you to make changes to your children’s after-school dismissal plans – PickUp Patrol is a cloud-based application that eliminates the need for notes and phone calls, and streamlines the entire after-school process. How it Works Parents use Pickup Patrol from their smartphone or computer. To make a dismissal change, 1. you simply login, 2. select a date, 3. choose your child and Dismissal Option, then 4.hit SUBMIT and that’s it! You can make plan changes at your convenience, and submit them days, weeks, or even months in advance. For added security, you’ll receive a confirmation email each time a change is made. Cut-off time changes entered into Pickup Patrol each day is 2:15 p.m. Changes entered after 2:15 p.m. may not be read. Emergency changes only may be called into the office after 2:15 p.m. “Welcome to Pickup Patrol” emails with login instructions have been sent to parents.
