Position – Temporary Environmental Programs Position Available at Riverwalk Park in Rockledge
Looking to hire a Temporary Recreation Aide at Riverwalk Nature Center in Rockledge, as soon as possible. They would be assisting with environmental education programs at Riverwalk Park and possible off site programs. This position would fill in as programming deems necessary up to 10 hours a week until the end of May at a rate of $10.22/hour. At that time they may have the opportunity to switch to a Seasonal Recreation Worker to assist with our Marine Biology Camp or other area summer camps as needed. The rate of pay for the summer camp position is $9.36/hour and would be working 40-43 hours per week. Work involves being in outdoor conditions which includes exposure to sun, heat, insects, and water as well as physical activity such as kayaking, lifting, and hauling of heavy buckets. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The position may include weekend or evening hours.
