M. E. LaZerte High School  Pre-Enrollment Update 2018-19   

As  of  April  16th,  2018  we  have  exceeded  our  District  enrollment  limit  for  Grade  10.  Students  who  reside  outside  of  our  attendance  area  participated  in  a  district-led  random  selection  process.  All  of  these  students  will  have  been  contacted  by  phone  regarding the results of this process by April 25th, 2018.    M.E.  LaZerte  will  only  be  accepting  additional  Grade  10  students  who  have  newly  moved into our attendance area after April 16, 2018.    For  all  current  Grade  9  students  that  pre-enrolled  by  the  April  16th  deadline  (you  submitted  registration  materials  to  an  M.E.  LaZerte  counsellor,  you  changed  your  SchoolZone  indicator  to  M.E.  LaZerte  on  the  Next  Year  tab,  and  you  chose  courses  on  OSCR  or  with  a  counsellor  from  LaZerte)​,  you  are  considered  enrolled  at  M.E.  LaZerte for 2018-19 if:  ● You reside in our ​attendance area​ and/or;  ● You are continuing in a Chinese (Mandarin) Bilingual program and/or;  ● You  have  a  sibling  continuing  at  M.E.  LaZerte  for  the  2018-19  school  year  and/or;  ● You  have  been  contacted  personally  by  a  counsellor  from  M.E.  LaZerte  who  indicated you were successful in your application to our school.    For  all  current  Grade  10  and  11  students  that  pre-enrolled  by  the  April  16th  deadline, you are considered enrolled for the 2018-19 school year.    ● Grade  10  students  who  applied  and  reside  outside  the  City  of  Edmonton  limits  cannot be accepted into our school as our enrollment limit has been reached  ● All  students  who  have  been  accepted  to  M.E.  LaZerte  should  check  our  school  website  (​melazerte.epsb.ca​)  regarding  ongoing  information  for  dates,  supplies,  and to sign up for the Principal’s newsletter that comes out every week.   ● Welcome to M.E.
