Process Engineer Description: Doubletree Paper Mills is located in Gila Bend, AZ and manufactures a variety of tissue paper for its numerous costumers in the Southwest. The company is growing and looking for talented individuals looking to make a career in tissue manufacturing. Job Responsibilities: o Exercise 100% environmental and safety compliance o Provide engineering expertise for process design, system optimization, quality control , commissioning & start-up, and trouble-shooting of paper machine systems o Develop and implement technical training programs for the machine operators and lab technicians o Evaluate chemical vendor’s proposals and co-ordinate chemical trials for improving paper manufacturing o Perform routine process testing and communicate results to the operations and management team o Ability to learn function block logic troubleshooting in a DCS system o Work with operations and maintenance team to identify and implement process modifications that lead to improved safety, quality, costs, and efficiency Knowledge / Skills: o o o o

Effective communication and computer skills Excellent problem solving and people management skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks Process water and paper testing procedures o Excellent knowledge in Mass, Heat and Energy balance Educational Qualification: o Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper Engineering Preferred: o Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper Engineering o Two years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment Salary & Benefits to Be Discussed to Qualified Applicants.
