Protect your domain with SPF records Spammers may send emails that appear to come from your domain, by forging the From field. By adding a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record to your domain host, your recipients can identify which mail servers can send emails from your domain. You add Google’s servers in the SPF record to tell the mail server of the person you’re sending email to that your email comes from you, and is not spam. You have to add the SPF record at your domain. For example, when you send an email from Gmail to someone, their server will check that the SPF record at your domain (yourdomain.com) matches the message’s server. If it doesn’t, it may be rejected as spam. Note: If you bought your domain from a Google partner (GoDaddy.com, eNom.com, and DomainDiscount24.com) when you signed up for G Suite, then you may not need to do this.

Create an SPF record for your domain When you verified your domain for G Suite, you added records at your domain host. You do something very similar to add an SPF record: 1.
First, go to your domain host (like GoDaddy or Dreamhost), and sign in. (Not sure who your domain host is? Get help to identify it.)
2.
Go to your domain’s DNS records. The page might be called DNS Zone, DNS Management, Name Server Management, Control Panel, or Advanced Settings. If you can’t find your domain’s DNS records settings, use the verification instructions for your domain host on how to add a TXT record in the Help Center.

3.
Add a new TXT record with the following text (copy and paste): v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all Your domain host may require that you add @ to your TXT record.
4.
(Optional) If you get error messages, use the verification instructions for your domain host on how to add a TXT record in the Help Center.
5.
Save your changes. Your new SPF record can take up to 48 hours to go into effect, but it usually happens more quickly.
Advanced: If you want to make your emails even more secure, you can Authenticate email with DKIM and Prevent outgoing spam with DMARC.
