[email protected] This course introduces core concepts and methods related to population health and aging. We will focus on: ● Demographic measures of population health and aging, globally and in the U.S., including: ○ life expectancy and mortality ○ family demography ○ fertility and migration ● An epidemiologic approach to: ○ population prevalence ○ incidence and distribution of specific diseases and conditions relevant in older age ● Study designs and methods used to examine population health of older adults
