Darden intranet Ten years ago, Darden Restaurants, Inc., the world’s largest full-service restaurant company, launched the “Darden Intranet Super Highway,” otherwise known as DiSH. While it was cutting-edge at the time, over the years it had become a frustrating repository of outdated information. Darden engaged Hanson to develop a new identity for the platform that would resonate with their largely millennial workforce. DiSH became KrowD, conveying the notion of “Work at Darden, turned inside out”—literally—while encouraging teaming and collaboration. Today, nearly a third of employees access KrowD on any given workday. KrowD has standardized work processes, reduced inefficiencies, and increased connectivity between audiences, fostering strong employee growth for years to come.

NewsSlide Hanson developed an editionbased publishing platform called NewsSlide for the Toledo Blade and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, two regional newspapers seeking digital publishing solutions to modernize the structure of their daily news content.
