To whom it may concern;

 6A-14.0571 Religious Observance by Students Each board of trustees shall adopt a policy to accommodate the religious observance of students pursuant to Section 1006.53, Florida Statutes.

 The following apply: F. S. 1002.20(2c) (c) Absence for religious purposes.—A parent of a public school student may request and be granted permission for absence of the student from school for religious instruction or religious holidays, in accordance with the provisions of s. 1003.21(2)(b).

 School Board policy 5.27 Established such a policy and states that a student so excused “shall be excused from examination, study, or work assignments at such time for observance of religious holidays.”

I, , request early dismissal for my child, , th th of the grade on October 15 & 16 to observe the Muslim religious holiday (Eidul-Adha or Feast of Sacrifice) so that he/she can attend and perform the Prayer and the religious rituals of this special feast which is celebrated worldwide by all Muslims every year.
