P5 Linden-Mayer system library - Developed a P5 library for building Linden-Mayer systems by simply declaring rules and iterations. - The goal was to make L-System’s easier to play with, while providing low level flexibility. Link Virtual reality Engineer (Cognizant Technology Solutions) (2016-Present) - Developed several Medical simulation exercises for University of New castle, Australia. - Neonatal care simulation is an exercise carried out by nurses during training. I’ve helped develop a better interaction system for the project using my knowledge from Human Computer Interaction design. Link to news coverage is Here and Here. - The simulation project was deployed to Gear VR, HTC vive and Microsoft HoloLens. I’ve developed different interaction systems for all the three devices. - The university had seen 15% decrease in neonatal risk and has seen prominent decrease in the time required to master resuscitation. Automation Scripts (Cognizant technology solutions) (2016-Present) - Developed core automation scripts for projects that helped speed up the development process. - Naming and animation automation scripts. These were a set of automation scripts that automated the naming process of hundreds of objects in a hierarchical tree (In Unity) and attached the appropriate animations required. - Developed automation scripts to quickly scaffold boilerplate projects for web development, that helped speed up various projects. Server Hosting (Cognizant technology solutions) (2016-Present) - Built, Hosted and maintained over 5 small and medium sized servers during my work at cognizant for Chat-Bots and Remote data processing. Leadership Team Lead at Cognizant technology solutions - Led two teams of 8 people in different locations for MilEdge project and also lead my team of 3 people for a few internal Projects. - Mentored 10 new trainees on Latest technologies including Unity, Ionic, Node.js, helped them understand Artificial intelligence and how we can incorporate it with existing technologies. Robotics Team lead and workshop lead - Lead a team of 6 people including me on various robotics projects and electronics projects. - Taught and helped 50+ freshman year students to get into robotics and electronics by conducting workshops. Team lead for Minor and Major projects - Took the responsibility of leading a team of 4 members for both the minor and major projects necessary to graduate. Minor project in the third year and Major in the fourth year of college. Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) - As a member of ISTE I was responsible for conducting and organizing robotics events in our colleges TechFests. - Helped to manage and organize Tree planation events in our campus as a part of the ongoing “Swach Bharat” campaign by the government to encourage tree planation. Teaching Experience Robotics Workshop - Taught 50+ freshman year students on introduction to robotics. - Conducted practical sessions by providing them kits to build Simple robots and Robots controlled by Mobile phones using DTMF technology. Chess: Taught by my father and is my favourite game. It helps me explore different ways of looking at a problem. To develop such a mind-set, I constantly try to avoid repeated moves and try to reason other steps and look at results. Music: Music has been a great addition to my life. I enjoy rock, metal genres the most. I got into music by learning to play Drums. I’ve also recently started playing around with guitar and started learning from YouTube. YouTube: I have huge respect for the technical community at YouTube who post tutorials, lectures and teach programming and electronics. They have been as important to my career as my university classes, training courses, internships. One day I would like to educate others through such medium. I have already started exploring teaching through video using egghead.io and It is mostly around programming. In my YouTube channel I would like to explore making video logs and progress updates of exciting research going on. My Youtube Channel
