Software Developer, Cycling ‘74 December 2014 - December 2016 | Part time during school, full time during breaks

Cycling ‘74 is known for Max, a visual programming language used by composers, performers, software designers, researchers, and artists to create recordings, performances, and digital art. •

Developed a USB communication layer for Mira, an iPad app used to control Max.

Previously, the connection was only over wifi but several users complained about the

unreliability of wifi for live performances. The feature update (v1.2) was approved and released on the App Store in August 2016. •

Mira’s popularity led to MiraWeb, a web-based version of Mira no longer limited to the

iPad. I prototyped the earliest versions of it on my own using React and WebGL, eventually being part of a team which released it in December 2016.
