Pt 29 - Revelation 15:1-8

10. (15:7) What’s in the bowls? Wrath of God

Following the Message: 1. The 7 bowl judgments are the last (and worst) plagues 2. (15:1) In this context the seven plagues express fully and completely God’s anger --- “they exhaust the anger of God” 3. (15:1) They are the last plagues, because they lead to the final fall of the power of satan 4. (15:2) “those who had been victorious over the beast” are Believers/redeemed during the Tribulation 5. (15:2) Holding harps (musical instruments) …indicates they are rejoicing/singing praise to God 6. (15:3) Song of Moses celebrated God’s deliverance of His people from slavery in Egypt. The “Song of the Lamb” celebrates the final deliverance from Satan 7. (15:4) Vs 4 Indicates first phase of fulfillment of Philippians 2:10 8. (15:5) Temple is sometimes referred to as the “tabernacle of testimony” because the most important item in it was the “ark of the covenant”, sometimes called the ark of the testimony 9. (15:6) John saw seven angels poised for action -dressed in pure, bright linen. Clothed in linen, clean and bright fabric represents their holiness and purity.

11. (15:8) The “glory” cloud remains in the heavenly temple until the earth is completely purged, cleansed, and prepared for the King and His kingdom.
