With great honor, we would like to announce that the METD & WRTD will be organizing a two-day exhibition on “Industrialized Building System” (IBS) in water industry. These exhibition on Water and IBS would be one of our initiatives in supporting the government aspiration for the engineering fraternity to use more IBS, thereby making the country less dependent on foreign labor. The series, with the theme of “Water and IBS” will be held from 8 and 9 December 2010 at Wisma IEM. Interested organisations and vendors with IBS in water industry would be invited to set up exhibition booths in Wisma IEM. By having all interested IBS contractors/vendors to participate in these exhibitions, it is hoped to promote the use of IBS, encourage fair competition as well as providing fellow engineers a platform to understand the latest trends of the IBS. The Senior Government Officers of Malaysia including the current and former Director General of water related organisation would be the guest of honour in this two-day event.
