Dear Parents/Carers, ROBINWOOD VISIT We are offering Year 4 and 5 pupils the opportunity to participate in a residential field trip at an Outdoor Education Centre. Over the past few years we have enjoyed many successful visits to Robin Wood Activity Centre near Alston and as a result of these we have made a provisional booking for Wednesday 25th November to Friday 27th November 2015 to take a group of up to 39 children. The cost of the visit includes a 2-night stay, all meals, organised activities and transport to and from the centre. The charge is based on 30 pupils participating giving a cost of £175 per child; if more children want to go this will reduce the cost, or if there are less than 30 pupils the cost will increase. To comply with the conditions set out by Robinwood there has to be a minimum of 27 children, if the number falls below this the trip will have to be cancelled. Once the final numbers have been decided we will be able to inform you of the final cost, which may be paid in instalments. If we are oversubscribed, as the maximum number of places is 39 on this residential visit, we will draw names out of a hat. If you would like your child to visit Robin Wood in November please complete the attached permission slip and return this with a £20 deposit no later than Friday 13th February 2015. Deposits are non refundable and may commit you to paying the full amount of the visit as we have to pay invoices in advance even though we collect your payment at a later date.
